The Reference Group developed the following research and development:

- Captions and bone fillers: They develop bio-composites containing organic phases (synthetic and natural polymers, proteins) and inorganic (hydroxyapatite, bio-glass, bioceramics). All these materials exhibit osteo-conductive skills, while including proteins, added osteo-inductive capacity. These characteristics are determined by in vivo and preclinical trials.

- Prototyping prosthesis as the patient: These are performed in a sequence of some of the following:

Processing of tomographic images
CAD Design
Preparation of molds gelcasting or injection molded
Heat treatment, etc.

The process allows the manufacture of components to build models for bone prosthesis or prostheses suitable for implantation, such as skull fragments or long bones.

- Molded porous metal prosthesis: The prototyping process combined with metal gelcasting prosthesis models can produce steel AISI 316L.

- Validation: Advice for validation to the ANMAT materials for prostheses, orthopedic and dental prostheses.

- In vivo studies and pre-clinical materials and orthopedic prostheses.
