Work Description

The Group develops an interdisciplinary work integrating the activity of professionals and students in Engineering and Archaeology .Its main objective is to analyze metal artifacts from various archaeological sites to determine manufacturing methods, traces of use and structural postdepositional alterations, in order to acquire knowledge about cultural and technological aspects of the past. Also conservation´s diagnostics are performed and conditioning techniques suitable to the objects in study are developed and applied.
